EastEnders spoilers: Martin Fowler crushed as Stacey hits back and locks him out of his house
The tables have turned in a big way in EastEnders as Martin and Stacey Fowler’s war has taken another turn – leaving Martin locked out of his home and Stacey inside with her kids. Following the rows around Stacey’s night with Max Branning, Martin threw his wife out and vowed to fight her for custody of the kids.
Stacey has been keeping a vigil by the house in the hope of getting access, even choosing to sleep outside but Martin wasn’t for budging as he even contemplated calling social services and using Stacey’s bipolar condition against her.
But interventions from Sonia and also Kush Kazemi made him relent slightly as he supervised Stacey with her children. However, Stacey was determined to get her kids back full time and so while Martin was on the stall, she persuaded Whitney Dean to let her into the house.
Hiring a locksmith, Stacey had the locks changed and Bex was too late to warn Martin as Stacey closed the door on him, vowing to keep her out. As Martin broke down in tears and begged Stacey to let him in, the battle has taken another twist and this time, it’s Martin out in the cold.
But how long can this go on – and how will it affect the kids. Will Martin now see through his threat of calling social services and getting legal advice? Or can the former couple finally come together to discuss their situation like rational adults?
One thing seems sure – it’s going to get worse before it gets better.
