We have seen Pam Coker a number of times since she and her husband left but boy have we been missing Les. However when Billy Mitchell discovers that his silent partner is paying a visit in EastEnders, could the character be back on our screens?
Billy landed himself in a lot of trouble recently when an inspection found that he was guilty of tax evasion and he was slapped with a mighty fine that nearly put him out of business. Thankfully, Jay was on hand to get him out of the mess but Billy has yet to tell Les what happened.
As Les plans his visit, Billy worries about telling him the truth, fearing that the trust will be broken and Les will want to cut ties with him. But is he worrying about nothing?
Les was a popular character and was involved in some major storylines including the reveal that he had been secretly cross dressing for decades as well as the tragic death of his grandson Paul.
Fans called for their return when he and Pam were written out and Pam has visited a number of times since, with Les’ back problems keeping him from being with her.
It remains to be seen whether Roger Sloman will be reprising his role as Les for the scenes or whether the visit will be cancelled.
