Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has dropped a major hint that he’s keen to take Alexis Sanchez‘s No.7 shirt at Arsenal.

The 28-year-old striker was not selected in Borussia Dortmund’s squad which drew 1-1 with Hertha Berlin on Friday night and, incredibly, was caught playing an indoor match with pals while the Bundesliga clash was taking place

German outlet Bild have published photographs of Aubameyang during the friendly kickabout and the shirt number on his back will undoubtedly send Arsenal fans into meltdown.

With Sanchez set to complete a £35million transfer to Manchester United, the No.7 shirt will become vacant at the Emirates and Aubameyang has teased Gooners that he could be the man to take it.
