Charlie Hunnam joins A Million Little Pieces with Sam Taylor-Johnson after turning her down for Fifty Shades

Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam has joined the cast of A Million Little Pieces.
He was asked by director Sam Taylor-Johnson to play the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film and sadly turned this down.
However the girl didn’t give up and now the pair will now be working together on the big screen adaptation of James Frey’s bestselling book.
The move is about battling addiction and Charlie will play the brother of the lead character, 23-year-old alcohol and drug abuser James, who will be played by Sam’s husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Billy Bob Thornton has also joined the casting list along with Blade Runner 2049 actress Carla Juri.
The book was published as a memoir and shot straight to the top of the bestseller list after featuring in Oprah Winfrey’s book club in 2005.
