Lydia Bright left fans in hysterics on Wednesday, after failing to answer questions about her chosen subject on BBC One's Celebrity Mastermind.

The TOWIE star, 27, appeared on the show for charity and chose to test herself on hit TV series Sex And The City in the famous chair, against host John Humphrys.

While she looked incredibly chic in her bright red two piece suit, Lydia only managed to get an embarrassing six questions right out of eleven – to the hilarity of viewers onTwitter.

Lydia was effortlessly chic in a red suit, with her hair swept back into a sophisticated up-do, as she took her place in the ominous black chair.

However, things soon went awry for the blonde when she answered a lengthy string of questions wrong about the TV show, which she chose as her expert subject.

John first asked who was the only character to appear in both the pilot and final episode other than the four girls – with Lydia answering 'Skipper' instead of Mr Big.

In another question, Lydia was asked: 'What is Steve's job when Miranda meets him in season 2?'

Although her answer was correct, the pronunciation wasn't quite right as she answered: 'A bar attender?', losing the point.

During the general knowledge round, Lydia was then heard guessing if the sea between the UK and Norway as the Pacific.
