A 32-year-old woman is believed to be the first in the country to have given birth to identical twins in different years.
Michelle Sandy gave birth gave birth to her daughter Aliya Grace at 11.40pm on December 31, 2017.
But her sister Lyarna Rose wasn't delivered for another 23 minutes at 12.03am on January 1, 2018, the Sun Online reports.

Ms Sandy, a cleaner, was induced into labour at Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton.
The babies were born seven weeks premature, both weighing just 4lb 8oz.
'We were joking, 'What if one comes on one side of midnight and one comes on the other?' Ms Sandy told the Sun.
'I had Aliya, but that didn't give much time to get the next one out before midnight.'

Father Dan Appleton, 26, added: 'Everyone said Happy New Year, then doctors said, 'You need to start pushing because the next one is coming'.'
The couple also have daughters Ruby and Amelia, both eight, and Tyler, four.
Mr Appleton said after both babies were delivered, one of the doctors Googled it to find out twins had ever been born in different years.
He said it has happened before in the United States.
Twins Joaquin and Aitana de Jesus Ontiveros were born in 2017 and 2018 in California.
