Emmerdale spoilers: Debbie Dingle knows Tom Waterhouse’s plan but there’s more drama ahead

Tom Waterhouse probably didn’t have his best planning head on when he invited Debbie Dingle to come and work in the office right next to where he had all of his secret plans for her family’s land pinned up on a noticeboard and, as he should have suspected, it hasn’t taken her long to stumble upon the truth.

Debbie’s employment at Tom’s company was very short lived in the most recent visit to Emmerdale as she snuck into his private office after becoming suspicious of important contracts she had blindly countersigned.

Despite a warning from a colleague to stay out, Debbie carried out a search, before finding that Tom had proudly attached some of the incriminating paperwork to a noticeboard for all to see. Of course, it’s only Debbie who would be horrified by what she found out as it proves that he is the one behind plans to knock down Zak and Lisa’s cottage to make way for a golf course.

Spitting feathers and enraged, Debbie stormed out and when Tom arrived back to find the map ripped to shreds, he knew he had some explaining to do – and insinuated to right hand man Graham Foster that things may still be salvageable.

But will Debbie be in any mood to hear Tom out when he comes calling – can he smooth talk his way out of this? And how will Debbie react when she realises that her signature was the one to seal the final deal?
