EastEnders spoilers: Torment as a child goes missing
Disaster is set to strike in EastEnders when the foster child of newcomers Mariam and Arshad Ahmed goes missing – can Masood save the day or will his gutted aunt and uncle be banned from fostering?
Mariam and Arshad are doing their best to settle into their new surroundings – and seem to be doing a better job of it than Masood who wastes no time in competing with old sparring partner Ian Beale and upsetting Carmel Kazemi.
Masood is playing the big shot and pretending that his business is raking it in but Ian is amused to find out that it’s an ice cream company and it isn’t doing too well. Masood’s cashflow problem even sees him trying to take the deposit from Carmel!
As a downcast Masood is left to look after foster child Daisy for a few minutes, she goes missing and Masood is thrown into a panic. Mariam and Arshad are forced to call the police and the locals try to help the couple find Daisy.
As Whitney Dean and Tiffany Butcher join the search, Masood finds himself in a difficult position – is everything as it seems?
After Ian finds Daisy in his back yard with Dave the cat, the police warn Masood that they will have to file a report that may prevent Mariam and Arshad fostering Daisy or any other child.
Are the heartbroken couple set to say goodbye to their dream? And is it all Masood’s fault?
