RIYADH: Following the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Palestinian conjoined twins Hanin and Farah on Sunday arrived at King Salman Airbase in Riyadh, accompanied by their father, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.
The twins were reportedly admitted to King Abdulaziz Medical City in coordination with King Salman Centre for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSRelief) for treatment and the possibility of their separation.
Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, an adviser at the Royal Court and the general supervisor of the KSRelief, said the twins are two girls joined in the abdominal and pelvic areas, each with one lower limb and joined in an abnormal third end. They also share some internal organs, which require delicate medical tests to determine joint organs and the possibility of their separation, he said.
