A man and woman in Ohio – married for over 20 years- divorced. However they got back together, started dating each other again, and in a Christmas miracle- the husband re-proposed Saturday.

Their elated son, Jeffry, took to Twitter to share the beautiful moment. 'My parents were married for more than 20 years, divorced, fought a lot, went to work on themselves. Years later, they start dating and as of yesterday, this happened.'

In the video, Jeff's mother is opening a present, and asks if her gift is pizza, but to her delight she finds a message.

Jeffry's parents were married for 20 years and parted ways, but this Christmas after re-connecting, his father proposed to his mother a second time

His parents were exchanging presents, afterward his mother opens a gift and reads the missive within.

His mother reads the beautiful poem his father wrote to her:

'The love we have burns anew. Our love was there, it never left, And both of us felt lost, bereft.

'Fate intervened for me and you. Our love caught fire and burns anew.

'So now I ask you Lori, once again…'

At this point Jeffry's father is kneeling with a jewelry box outstretched to his long standing love.

Jeffrey's elated mother, now sobbing, says, 'Oh my God oh my god, yes, yes I love you!'

Jeffrey is not just excited by his parents reunion, he has also been humbled by the outpouring of support after posting his video on Twitter.

'I still legit cry every time I watch this video. This is such a blessing to my family, who have suffered years of division. One family, whole again, I couldn’t wish for anything better for Christmas!'

Additionally, Jeffry started a GoFundMe page to help fund a second wedding, after his parent's instant viral fame.

In it he explains his parents went through real transformations to get to be together today.

'My parents both came from nothing. Their first wedding was televised and at an electronics store, because they were too poor for a traditional wedding. They raised 8 children, including myself. '

'When their marriage failed, our whole family was devastated and torn apart. Years went by, with fights and slick comments being waged from both sides.'

His father, he says, struggled with his own demons.

'My dad started going to AA meetings, and lost a ton of weight. He started writing poetry and spending more time with his grand kids.'

Jeffry's papa has made great gains, he adds: 'My dad was a truck driver for 20 years, went back to school, and got his RN and now works 60 hour weeks at University of Toledo Medical Center.'

Jeffry's mother had her own obstacles to overcome along the way as well.

'My mother found peace in nature, through meditation, and self empowerment.'

Jeffry concludes he just wants to his parents happy after years of strife. 'I have two really awesome parents. Who have sacrificed so much of themselves for their families. I want to give back in one way, to give them the dream wedding every couple desires. A perfect conclusion to a beautiful, and very true story.'

On Twitter, Jeffry added: Congrats Mom and Dad! True love always finds its way back around.'

When its meant to be, its meant to be.
