Emmerdale reveals the shocking truth about Tom as Debbie reels in shock

Ever since he first appeared on our screens, there has been something suspicious about suave and rich businessman Tom Waterhouse and when we later saw him make clear to his cohort Graham Foster that he was secretly plotting against lover Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale, our fears were confirmed.

Since then, we have all been worried about what Debbie is getting herself into and in the New Year, she is about to make a shocking discovery about her boyfriend when his true colours are exposed – and the betrayal is huge.

As Debbie heads to work for Tom, she is shown around the office and casually mentions to Tom that Sam and Lydia were arrested while on the site to try and stop the golf course developers. Of course, fans are in the know that it is none other than Tom who is behind these plans – so did he orchestrate the arrests?

Tom offers to get them a lawyer but his evasive nature leaves Debbie suspicious – and while his attempts to dissuade her concerns are impessive, it seems that she is starting to wake up to a cold reality about him.

Things will then come to a head when Debbie is then asked by a colleague to witness sign some paperwork. While it appears that the forms are just a routine part of the workplace, it will soon become apparent that Debbie’s signature will have massive consequences.


Will the truth about what Tom has done come to light – and how will Debbie react to him when she learns that she has been duped?
