Max Branning has murder in mind in EastEnders as the villain has lost everything due to his own actions of revenge. And as he hits rock bottom, he wants Ian Beale and Phil Mitchell to pay the ultimate price as a shocking turn of events is about to explode.
After Charlie Cotton returned and exposed Max’s method of having Matthew taken away from Jack, Max was kicked out by his brother. Max begged Jack for forgiveness, sharing his regret over his actions and imploring him to help bring down Phil and Ian.

But Jack told Max he was on his own, booting him out and watching as both Lauren and Abi also turned their backs on him. As Max was left seething, devastated and more unhinged than ever, he turned his anger on Phil and Ian – the two people he blames directly for having him wrongly jailed.
And as he fixed them with a killer glare, viewers will see him take violent action next week as he first closes in on Ian, telling him that he is going to kill him. As Ian fears for his life, will anyone be able to stop Max from taking horrific action against him?
Whether or not Ian survives remains to be seen but events over Christmas are about to explode massively, tearing apart the Branning family once and for all.
