Hannah Marks, Dylan Sprouse, Liana Liberato To Star In Comedy ‘Banana Split’ For American High

EXCLUSIVE: Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency star Hannah Marks wrote and will star in the indie high comedy Banana Split, along with The Suite Life of Zack and Cody alum Dylan Sprouse and Liana Liberato (If I Stay, 1 Mile to You). Mickey Liddell and Jeremy Garelick’s newly formed company, American High, is fully financing the movie, which is currently shooting in Syracuse, New York.

Cinematographer Ben Kasulke is marking his feature directorial debut with this film, which is described as in the vein of Superbad and follows two girls who become friends despite being eskimo sisters.

Red Oaks actress Jessica Hecht, Spider-man: Homecoming‘s Jacob Batalon, Luke Spencer Roberts (upcoming Eggplant Emoji film), and Addison Riecke (The Beguiled) co-star.

Will Phelps, Glen Trotiner, and Sam Slater are producing the project. Exec producers are Marks, Joey Power, who co-wrote the script with Marks, and Rowan Riley.

Marks is repped by UTA, Untitled, and Bloom Hergott Diemer. Sprouse is repped by Authentic Talent and WME. Liberato is with CAA and Management 360.
