Are you sick of seeing the same old models on every magazine ad?

If so (and let’s face it, who isn’t?), then get ready to be pleasantly surprised by Balenciaga.

Because they’re sticking a load of actual families in their SS18 photos.

Yep, you might be sick of your own brood by the time Christmas is over but the Parisian fashion house is making a case for family values with their new campaign.

Shot by Robbie Augspurger, all the families are pictured in classic family portrait style with potted plants for props…and trumpets.

The collection seems to be an ode to norm-core – that kind of 90s family style which saw us all running around in high-waisted jeans, oversized t-shirts and fugly shoes.

And, according to one shot, shorts over jeans.

Whether that look will take off next year remains to be seen.
