It's been just over a month since he said he was changing up his lifestyle for the sake of his precious three-year-old son, Eric.
And music mogul Simon Cowell was in high spirits as he enjoyed an enviable beach day with his adorable son in sunny Barbados on Sunday.
The 58-year-old appeared in tiptop condition as he showcased his taut physique, following his strict health and fitness plan.

Matching his aqua blue swimming trunks, Simon teamed his beachwear with trendy ocean blue-tinted aviators – protecting his eyes from the beaming Barbados sunlight.
His look-a-like son was also dressed in beach-ready attire, as his young child wore striped swimming trunks and an indigo blue T-shirt, which was paired with a navy baseball cap.

Basking in the scorching hot climate, the pair looked on at the scenic sandy shores as they took pleasure in the father-son bonding experience.
Flashing his toned abs, the producer highlighted the results of his stringent regime.
A source revealed to The Mirror: 'During the [X Factor] series, he'll receive regular IV drips of vitamin B12, C and magnesium to remain on top form.'
The star, 58, was stretchered out of his London mansion to hospital in a neck brace after the accident while going to get a cup of hot milk to help him fall asleep in late October.
At the time, Simon said he feared he'd broken his neck when low blood pressure led him to slip down the stairs.

Reflecting on the near-fatal incident, Simon told The Sun: 'Sometimes we get a reminder that we're not invincible and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.
'They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out.
'After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever.'
The entrepreneur has owned a property on the picturesque Eastern Caribbean island for a number of years, and often joins his family a few days later for winter festivities.
In 2013, it was revealed Simon had been in a relationship with his then-best friend Andrew Silverman's wife Lauren, after pictures emerged of them kissing on a yacht.
The pair then welcomed their son – a half-sibling for Lauren's eldest son Adam, 11, from her previous marriage – in February 2014, and named him after Simon's late father, who died in 1999.
While he is now closer than ever with his little boy, Simon confessed last year that he had struggled to form a bond with the tot after he first arrived.
Yet, Simon later admitted to the Daily Star that the pair were now closer than ever – with Eric even confiding in him about his seemingly hectic love life.
The producer joked to the paper: 'I think he has my charm with the ladies. I asked him the other day how many girlfriends he's got and I think he's got five currently, so he's doing OK.'
