Melania Trump may have given away more than she anticipated when she admitted where she would like to spend Christmas.
The US First Lady was asked where she would choose to spend the festive season if she could go anywhere in the world.

In response she said she’d like to go to a deserted island.
Seconds later she added that she would at least take her family with her – but many felt it suggests she is less than excited about her first Christmas at the White House.
Melania, 47, was making a visit to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, US, where she held a question and answer session with patients and staff, revealing her Christmas wish.

In response to the question posed by ten-year-old Andy, she said: ‘I would spend my holidays on a deserted island, a tropical island, with my family.’
Her answer was met with laughter at the hospital – but those watching online saw it is a chance to bring back the #FreeMelania.

According to Melania, the Trumps will have dinner together on Christmas Eve before attending a midnight Mass.
Then in terms of Christmas dinner the following day, the First Lady revealed that she would prefer ‘healthy food’ on the menu.
And when a little girl named Sammy asked the FLOTUS what she is asking Santa for this year, she replied: ‘Peace on the world, health, love, and kindness.’
The president’s wife also read The Polar Express to children before taking questions.

M: I would spend my holidays on deserted island, tropical island with my family.
Q: What is your favourite family Christmas tradition?
M: Our family Christmas tradition is that Christmas Eve we have a dinner and we go to midnight mass or Christmas Day mass, next day and then another family dinner and Christmas on the 25th, Santa comes.
We open the presents and spending time together.
Q: What did you ask Santa for for Christmas?
M: Oh that’s a nice one. I asked Santa for Christmas peace on the world, health, love and kindness.
