Hollyoaks fans, prepare for a Christmas treat – as the show is set to release a classic episodes boxset later this month to celebrate some familiar faces returning to the screen.
All4’s new Hollyoaks boxset will feature standout moments since the soap began in 1995, including the first ever episode where we met the longest serving cast member, Nick Pickard as Tony Hutchinson.
Hollyoaks has been running for 23 episodes overall and with Mandy (played by Sarah Jayne Dunn) and Luke (played by Gary Lucy), returning to the village earlier this year, one of the special episodes included in the set will be Luke and Mandy’s first date.

This was aired on the 17th June 1999 and shows the couple going on a date to Chester where everything goes wrong, before they share their first kiss.
The boxset will follow some of the characters’ most explosive and devastating moments, such as the time Mandy returns home after an evening out to realise that she can’t wake her baby daughter, Grace.

Luke is raped (15th March 2000)
Darren and Nancy’s wedding (15th February 2012)

Nancy’s multi-storey car park crash (15th August 2013)
And the 2013 episode where Nancy was being chased by the police and ended up with the back wheels of her car hanging over the edge of a multi-storey car park.
It will also feature Holly Cunningham’s birth, which was in 1997, whose character has grown and changed with the different actresses across the 20 years she has been on screen as well as Darren and Nancy’s 2012 wedding and the episode which saw Luke raped by Mark Gibbs in 2000.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights, C4 at 6:30pm with a first look on E4 at 7pm.
