Someone’s spreading the funny rumor that Kumail Nanjiani’s Golden Globes-snubbed The Big Sick is Steven Spielberg’s favorite movie of the year. The tale seems to have gotten started on Nanjiani’s Twitter page.

Great movie to watch w the fam. I watched it w my family (the Spielbergs) & we all loved it. Handing phone back to Kumail now.”
Nominated or not, Nanjiani is an early runner for best Globes reaction.
