Mlambo, also known as 'Ten-Ten', has been in outstanding form for the Sea Robbers this season and was named as the club's Best Player for the month of August.

Now in his second season at the club, the 27-year-old has featured in every single game for Bucs this season and has become a fan favourite thanks to his creative flair in the middle of the park.

He has paid tribute to the role Mokwena has played in his development, as well as the influence his team-mates at Pirates have had on his game.

"To be honest coach Rhulani Mokwena is pushing me hard as we come a long way. We worked together at Black Poison. He is [the] secret behind my performances," Mlambo told KickOff.

"I don't think I would be dishing out my utmost best even though at times I feel it's not enough.

"But with great surroundings of quality players, it makes it easy for me because they cover my mistakes not seen in certain moments. They help me become a better player."

Pirates are next in action when they host Golden Arrows on Wednesday October 3.
