Millie Bobby Brown has given Cardi B a serious run for her money after stepping in for the rapper at Maroon 5s concert in Nashville on Sunday night to perform Girls Like You.

And it was a performance the audience never knew they needed.

Cardi B originally features on the Maroon 5 track but as she was busy gracing Milan Fashion Week with her presence over the weekend, it meant there was a space for one Cardi B superfan to fill in.

Naturally, Millie was the obvious choice.

Stranger Things have happened…

Millie gave Cardi B a run for her money on-stage last night

Looking every inch the wannabe rap star, Millie enthusiastically ran onto the stage wearing a pair of sunglasses and doing the obligatory rap hand gestures.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine seemed to approve of Millies performance and gave the teen a high-five before she exited the stage.

Although there were issues with Millies microphone at first, the 14-year-old clearly knew every single lyric, which includes not too long ago, I was dancing for dollars and I dont really want a white horse and a carriage, Im thinkin more a white Porsche and carats.

The audience at Nashvilles Bridgestone Arena lapped up Millies karaoke session and cheered the youngster on.

Maroon 5 thanked the British actress for her surprise appearance later in the night, saying she was in beast mode, adding: Girls Like You with our friend Millie.

Hours before the concert, Millie had teased her guest appearance in an Insta Story, telling her followers: About to do something epic, along with a photo of her customised denim jeans.

After arriving home, Millie told her 17.4 million followers: Im home now, it was such an amazing night with such incredible people with such good friends and truly family. Its such an honour to be on stage with such talented human beings.

It comes after Millie revealed she has a particularly close friendship with rapper Drake. However, the TV star was forced to deny their bond after some criticised the age difference with Drake aged 31.

Now were just waiting for Millie to do the, ahem, Milly Rock dance.
