Heres your first look at Blossoms new video How Long Will This Last?

The band had fans worried with a Twitter spat between Tom and Joe, which quite frankly was rib-ticklingly funny, especially as it had so many of us going. But the band have proven it was all just for laughs by releasing their brand new video for new track How Long Will This Last?

Confessing to Metro.co.uk it was all a wind up, Tom said: We made the video Where Are Blossoms as a bit of fun, then the week before that me and Joe decided we should have an argument on Twitter just to generate a little bit more buzz.

At the time we were like shit we dont want to pull the wool over someones eyes and get people worrying, but once the proper video came out people just got it then.

It was so funny, thats why I cant believe anyone actually believed it. Eating Greggs with a pasty glove!

Not only are the lads back, but their new video is an excellent little homage to 80s movie Back To The Future, featuring the DeLorean, the Enchantment Under The Sea dance, and their other selves.

Its one of my favourite films, Tom Ogden confessed to Metro.co.uk. This video is a follow on from Honey Sweet where at the end we find the DeLorean. Its in our old school – me Josh and Joe used to go to the same school so we went back.

The lads did actually film the video in their old school complete with their old teachers and using the year 11s as extras.

This video touches more on the Back To The Future references, more than just the car, Tom explained. Its like the Enchantment Under The Sea dance, and seeing alternate versions of yourself exactly like in Back To The Future II. There are a lot of references.

It was probably the most fun weve had making a video because obviously you can imagine going back to your old school – I was in a musical on that stage where we did the video. It was very surreal, but very enjoyable.

Their old PE, RE and drama teachers featured in the video if you can spot them.

My drama teacher was my favourite teacher, Tom said. We had a lot of fun.

They released the new record Cool Like You earlier this year, and now theyre preparing to head on tour in December.

We cant wait, all of the gigs have sold out, Tom said. Really cant wait. Its your own shows and everyone knows the words.
