Jack Fincham might have a case of the butterflies over the next 24 hours.

You see, the Love Island lad is finally meeting his girlfriend Dani Dyers father in the flesh.

And that father is none other than EastEnders hardman Danny Dyer.

No pressure, Jack.

Just over a week since the Love Island villa – where he was crowned winner alongside Dani, and handed a cheque for £50k – the pen salesman is finally catching up with the dad tomorrow on Danis birthday.

Before now, the lad has only met him via FaceTime in the Mallorca villa on the Meet The Parents episode.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, Jack said of the catch-up: Ive met the rest of the family and all her friends, its just them two. Im looking forward to it. I like meeting new people anyway.

Danny and wife Joanne Mas have been on family holiday in Florida, so theyre yet to powwow with their daughter on her historic win, after scooping the pool with the biggest winning percentage the show has seen, with over 80% of the vote.

The fresh reality star has admitted her famous father, who stars as Mick Carter in EastEnders, didnt think shed last 30 minutes in the show – meaning they had time to schedule their holiday at the end of the series.

Of her own parents she said: Theyve literally gone on holiday the final two weeks – brilliant timing.

She added, while appearing on Good Morning Britain on Monday: They didnt think I was going to last. Me dad went, “I thought youd last half hour”.

The fact I lasted the whole way and now theyre obviously in Florida… but its rained for them. I said, “You should have been at home”.

Theres enough for them to catch up, seeing as Dani is now £25k richer, after Jack split the winnings with his love, and quickly forging a very lucrative and popular career in the media.

But Dani admitted her father is keen to have a chat with Jack to teach him about the pitfalls of fame.

It has been really difficult because it is such a change of our lives, she said.

But its been brilliant, they [my parents] ring us all the time, me dad especially, hes like, “Listen when I come back well have a proper chat” and hes definitely going to guide Jack as well in the right direction, which is nice.

The thing is, me dads a big softie really and I think he knows how happy I am with Jack. I think he just wants to advise him and be there for him as well. I think its exciting for my dad to have another boy in the family.

Oh to be a fly on the wall during tomorrow nights dinner.

Dani was speaking to Capital Breakfasts Roman Kemp, Vick Hope and Sonny Jay. Tune into Capital Breakfast, week days from 6am – 10am and Saturdays from 6am – 9am
