Cardi B is making a comeback after baby as a festival headlining act in October

Cardi B is returning to the stage for the first time since giving birth headlining a festival later this year.

The rapper and husband Offset welcomed their first child together in July after which she cancelled her upcoming tour dates with Bruno Mars.

However Cardi will be back in business in October, taking one of the top spots at the Mala Luna Festival.

Following the birth of daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus in July, Cardi pulled out as the opening set for Bruno Mars scheduled for September.

She tweeted: I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically.

I also thought that Id be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.

Not only am I just not ready physically, Im not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained its not healthy for her to be on the road.

Cardi recently confirmed shed married Offset in secret last September despite the Migos rapper publicly proposing on stage a month after.

She tweeted: There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments!

We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress no makeup and no ring!

Mala Luna Festival will take place in San Antonio, Texas, from 27-28 October.

Cardi will perform alongside the likes of Tyler the Creator, Nicky Jam and Lil Pump.
