Demi Lovato was hospitalised last night after suffering a suspected drug overdose.
It was initially reported that the 25-year-old had overdosed on heroin; however, it has since been claimed that the singer refused to tell paramedics what she had taken.
Demi is now stable and responsive in hospital, where her family are staying by her side.
The Cool For The Summer singer had been sober for six years after struggling with drug and alcohol addiction throughout her life, but relapsed earlier this year.
She was open about her relapse to fans, sharing the lyrics video to her song Sober on 21 June with the Twitter caption: My truth…
In the heartbreaking song, Demi revealed that she was not sober anymore, apologising to her parents, friends, lovers, fans and herself for her relapse.
In the painfully honest lyrics, she sings: Momma, Im so sorry, Im not sober anymore/ And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor/ To the ones who never left me/ Weve been down this road before/ Im so sorry, Im not sober anymore.

During Demis final performance before she was hospitalised, she sang Sober at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.

However, during the song, she appeared to forget the lyrics to the ballad.
Lovato has been open about her struggles with drug and alcohol abuse, having first taken cocaine at the age of 17 when she was on the Disney Channel show Sonny With A Chance.

The Camp Rock star has been drinking since she was a young teenager, and in 2010, she withdrew from the Jonas Brothers Live In Concert Tour to enter rehab.
While she completed inpatient treatment at Timberline Knolls, Demi admitted in her documentary that her treatment wasnt entirely successful, saying: I wasnt working my program. I wasnt ready to get sober. I was sneaking it on planes, sneaking it in bathrooms, sneaking it throughout the night. Nobody knew.
