Drake hops on N.E.R.D and Rihanna’s Lemon for new remix

You can feel the star power practically oozing out of this one.

The arrival of N.E.R.D’s comeback single, Lemon, last November heralded the proper return of the Fly Or Die boys after seven long years away from the spotlight.

Lemon’s bouncing rhythms were given an added thump by a truly bad-ass verse from Rihanna, who arguably stole the show from Pharrell and co. with her star turn on the sweet-not-sour song.

Not to be outdone, hip-hop’s busiest superstar Drake has now managed to clip on his own contribution to Lemon, with a new remix from the Toronto star surfacing over the weekend.

Premiered by Pharrell during his special OVO Sound Radio show, the Drake remix sees the rapper talking about ‘money 3D printing’ (a dangerous game, no?), advice his Dad gave him (‘You better get some money and not die and go to prison’, which seems like pretty sage stuff) and pricey birthday gifts.

It doesn’t quite outdo Rihanna’s guest verse, but it’s a welcome addition to an already-certified banger.
