There’s more to shady Aidan Maguire than meets the eye in EastEnders and his seemingly random pickings of Mick Carter, Vincent Hubbard, Keanu Taylor and Phil and Billy Mitchell into his heist may well turn out to run deeper than the oblivious men imagine.
New Year’s Day will see the plan get underway and with Shirley intervening and preventing Mick from being at his position, Aidan is on the warpath. Despite Mick overcoming his predicament and making it to his station, the plan continues to de-rail and as disaster strikes, one of the men ends up shot and fighting for their lives while the others have serious consequences to deal with.

Preview lines also reveal that in the week’s episodes, the true colours of Aidan are finally exposed, meaning that there is more at play here than the men – mere pawns in his game – have been let in on.
Does he have a personal grudge against one or more of the men and is this all part of some kind of revenge ploy? Or are they collateral damage to a bigger vendetta?
Whatever the truth, there are twists in store and the men will soon regret ever becoming involved with Aidan.
